What You Will Do as an Application Support Specialist

As an Application Support Specialist, your main responsibilities will include providing Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) support through calls and emails. You will also assist in Laboratory Information System (LIS) support. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and solving basic technical issues, such as printing and scanning problems, ensuring smooth operations within the organization. Moreover, you will conduct training sessions for new hires at medical offices to ensure they understand how to efficiently use our software systems.

Your role will also include managing other assigned tasks, which may vary depending on company needs. You’ll work closely with both technical and non-technical staff to ensure seamless implementation and use of our software systems.

Qualifications We Are Looking For

To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field. You should also have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in supporting EHR, PM, or LIS systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential, as well as the ability to identify problems quickly and provide solutions effectively.

Additionally, familiarity with software analysis and design, particularly within healthcare environments, will be considered an advantage. Excellent communication skills are also crucial, as you will be required to interact with clients and staff both in person and over the phone.
