Key Responsibilities​

Comprehensive Financial Management​

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

• Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system, preferably Odoo ERP.

• Process monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.​

Financial Reporting and Analysis​

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Cash Flow Statements.

• Monitor actual expenses against budgeted forecasts and report any variances.

• Provide timely financial insights to management, highlighting discrepancies and areas for improvement.​

Tax Compliance and Audit Support​

• Ensure compliance with Pakistani tax laws, including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax.

• Prepare necessary documentation for tax filings and support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documents.​

Process Improvement and Policy Development​ Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

• Continuously suggest process improvements to maintain the financial integrity of the organization.​

Qualifications and Experience​

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter/ACCA/ICMA/CPA preferred).

• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, trading, or technology sectors.

• Strong understanding of Pakistani tax laws and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software like Odoo ERP and advanced MS Excel skills.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting abilities.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with management, auditors, and tax authorities.

Preferred Skills​

• Experience in a standalone accounting role within SMEs.

• Familiarity with accounting modules in ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP B1, or Oracle.

• Sound understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Practical experience in handling Withholding Tax, GST filings, Income Tax documentation, and bank reconciliations.​
